AMWT: A New Concept in
Medical Waste
Transportation & Disposal

Asepsis Medical Waste Transportation

Finally, there is a company focused on solving the needs of the small quantity generator -- the doctors, labs, clinics, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, board and care homes, tattoo artists, acupuncture clinics and permanent cosmetologists. Whether you have sharps, biohazardous or pathological waste, you can now obtain prompt local response, safe transportation and legal disposal of your medical waste. You can be compliant and cost-effective without the restrictions of long-term contracts, monthly account management fees and unnecessary costly pickups.

Founded in 1993, Asepsis Technology has been the leader in trauma scene management in the North Bay -- mitigating, disinfecting and abating medical waste at death scenes, violent crime scenes and medical emergencies scenes. In response to a deluge of calls for medical waste hauling from small quantity generators, Asepsis Technology created a new division to provide this vital service to our communities.

Our principals personally went to Sacramento, met with the regulators and applied to the California Department of Toxic Substance Control for the permit to transport hazardous materials. This is the permit necessary to transport medical waste. It was necessary to disclose certain levels of public liability insurance, to identify the fleet which will be used to transport the medical waste as well as the final destination or treatment facility where the waste will be disposed.

Where does your medical waste go? Asepsis Technology toured and inspected several transfer stations and treatment facilities in Northern California and audited their record of compliance with the Department of Health Services. Among other issues, we screened their manifest documentation process and waste treatment methods. After this scrutiny, only (2) two facilities met our stringent qualifications. Multi-year service agreements were negotiated and executed.

With these disclosures complete, Asepsis Technology was granted a permit to transport medical waste in California. Asepsis Technology then registered with the Department of Health Services as a medical waste transporter. You will be given a copy of this permit when you sign up for service with Asepsis Technology. We are not paranoid of regulators; we are proud of our record with them. Whether it is for one small sharps container every other month, or tubs of biohazardous waste every week, you can be assured of compliance. You will not be scheduled or charged for unnecessary pickups. We will respond when you call us. You will not be asked to sign a contract for a year or two. You will not be charged monthly account management fees, just to keep your name in our computer. We do not ask you to pay to be our customer; we are proud of our customer base and will earn your loyalty.

So, with our commitment and proven record of customer service in trauma scene management, you can now focus your time on your profession---confident that your medical waste is being transported and disposed promptly, safely and legally.

Our fees are reasonable. Our company is local. Our service is prompt. And, we even provide the containers. Call or email Asepsis Medical Waste Transportation today for the answer to your medical waste transportation needs.
